I have a project that runs under a 1.5 JVM. After a recent Eclipse update (including switching to TestNG 5.13.0.6) all tests fail with the following error: Exception in thread 'main' java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: java/io/ Console at org.testng.remote.RemoteTestNG.main(RemoteTestNG.java:127) The root cause appears to be that JCommander uses java.io.Console, which was first introduced in Java 1.6. So, it appears that TestNG is no longer compatible with Java 1.5. Is this an intentional change, or inadvertent? Would it be feasible to restore 1.5 compatibility, or is there a workaround?
